RESIDENTS of Bradford on Avon are the surrounding area will get a chance to quiz their General Election candidates about their views on climate change and the environment next week.

A hustings for the climate is being held at St Margaret's Hall on Thursday, November 28 from 7 for 7.30pm.

Organiser Jane Jones, of Climate Friendly BoA, said: "Research shows a majority of UK people say the climate crisis will influence how they vote in the forthcoming general election.

"The event will enable voters to hear first hand from each candidate who will be allocated a two to three-minute slot at the commencement of the hustings to outline their parties policies.

"This will then be followed by “ A Question Time “ format with questions coming from the floor."

The four candidates are Martha Anachury (Labour Party), Helen Belcher (Liberal Democrats), Michelle Donelan (Conservative Party). The hustings will be chaired by Geoff Jones.
