A TEENAGE boy suffered injuries to his chest and leg in a suspected assault in Park North.

Police say the local 15-year-old may have been chased in the incident, which is believed to have happened close to the Buckhurst Community Centre at around 8pm on Monday, November 25.

He was then taken to Great Western Hospital to have his injures looked out but has since been discharged. 

Detective constable Leah Dunn said: “At this stage, we are trying to ascertain the exact circumstances which led to this teenage boy being injured – as part of our enquiries we are keen to speak to any witnesses, or anyone who may have seen a boy being chased by another male who had arrived in the area on a moped."
