POLICE are appealing for help to discover how a man in his 50s, who was found seriously injured in Market Lavington, near Devizes, yesterday evening came to be hurt.

An off-duty paramedic found the man in Spin Hill with a head and leg injury at about 9.30pm.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, but it is unclear how he came to be injured.

“We are appealing for anyone who was driving in the area this evening and may have witnessed anything which could assist our enquiries to come forward.

“We would also like to speak to anyone who has dash cam footage and for them to get in touch.
