Jail sentence

ELLIOT Ozteoman, 38 from Melksham, has been sent to prison for six months and fined £122 after being arrested on suspicion of possessing a pocket knife, affray and threats to kill. His arrest followed a report of a disorder in Somerset Crescent, Melksham, at 10.45pm on November 25.

Pot smashed

A HOUSEHOLDER in Church Street, Melksham, heard a disorder around 1am on November 25 and discovered that a pot on her doorstep had been smashed.

Assault arrest

A female teenager has been charged with assaulting three police officers called to a disorder in Woodrow Road, Melksham, at 4.43am on November 27. She will appear at youth court at a later date. Police found her on the roof of a building.

Generator stolen

A GENERATOR was stolen from a transit van parked in a secure compound in Forest Road, Melksham, between November 12 and 28.

Drugs stop check

A MAN in his 20s from Melksham has been released under police investigation after police stop checked two men who were acting suspiciously in High Street, Melksham, around 3pm on November 28. The men were searched. One man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

Traffic altercation

A DRIVER suffered a minor injury following a non-injury road traffic collision in Market Place, Melksham, at 4.05pm on November 28. Both drivers stopped to exchange details but one man became agitated and grabbed the victim by the throat and pulled him to the ground.
