A MAN was arrested in connection with an incident in Trowbridge on Monday night.
Police officers received a number of calls relating to a man behaving in a threateningly in the town centre shortly after 5pm on Monday.
Officers attended and made an arrest a few minutes later in the underground car park near Asda. They also seized a piece of metal wire.
A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of making threats and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
He has been released under investigation while our enquiries continue.
