A FAMILY from Warminster have delivered 155 advent calendars and tubs of chocolates to hospitals in Salisbury and Southampton where their son was treated for cancer.

Debbie Martin and her seven-year-old son, Finn, delivered the last of the calendars donated by well-wishers.

Mrs Martin, 50, of Victoria Road, Warminster, said: "All 155 have been safety delivered and will be distributed across Salisbury and Southampton hospitals.

"They have gone to Sarum Children’s Ward, the children’s outpatient ward and the spinal unit in Salisbury.

"In Southampton, they have been shared across Piam Brown oncology ward, the children’s ward and the dementia ward.

"We would like to give a truly massive thank you to all of you who contributed. Team Martin are truly grateful."

Finn was treated at the two hospitals until January this year after being diagnosed with leukaemia in October 2015
