YOUNG pupils entertained the elderly when they visited a nearby care home to perform the Christmas classics.
On Monday the Great Bedwyn Primary School choir and orchestra played a range of festive tunes to the Brendoncare Froxfield nursing home audience
The choir sang popular songs including O Holy Night, The Ukranian Bell Carol, as well as an original piece called Christmas Is Here.
The care home crowd were treated to a performance of I Saw Three Ships, played by Year 4 pupil Poppy Handle on the harp.
Finishing off the festive afternoon in style, the orchestra played a number of traditional carols before rounding the concert off with Slade's Merry Christmas Everyone.
Year 4 teacher Kathryn Bengtsson said: "It's so nice for our pupils to be able to entertain the care home residents. It teaches them about doing things for others.
"All of the children were looking forward to it beforehand.
"It truly was a wonderful festive afternoon, enjoyed by children and adults alike."
