No consideration

I have been picking my grand children up from Abbey Park School for a number of years, parking in the car park. They have now divided it off with barriers and tape and is a one way system which takes longer but seems to be safer but I have seen people get out of their car and break the tape. Also the other day a lady in a big white car just drove over the barrier that had been pushed to the round. No consideration for child safety.

A sign of congestion

To add to the congestion on the way to the Outlet Village, there is still a sign at the bottom of Cambria Bridge directing traffic down to Park Lane roundabout to go back into town. Surely common sense would see the benefits of removing said sign and allowing traffic to turn right, ease some of the congestion and keep traffic flowing.

MP’s grateful thanks

I would be grateful if I could use your letters column to thank the people of North Wiltshire for renewing their confidence in me as their Member of Parliament. I pledge to work, as I always have done, for all the people of North Wiltshire; people from every corner of it, people of every kind, and people of every political persuasion and none. You cannot please all of the people all of the time. But you can be certain that every single thing I do and say, every single vote I cast will be for the benefit of the people of this great area as a whole, and I look forward to returning to Westminster and forming part of a majority Conservative government.

I am so grateful to the people of North Wiltshire for their confidence and pledge my every effort to work on their behalf.

James Gray MP, North Wiltshire
