A MALMESBURY puzzle company has launched its Christmas collection projected to be worth £5.2 million in the US over the next five years.
Wiltshire-based Wentworth Wooden Puzzles, who employs 45 people, has recently released its festive-themed jigsaw puzzle collection, which will be available to buy in the United States due to an online expansion.
The Department for International Trade supported the company in growing its sales in the US and it invested in a new US website an
marketing, growing its annual turnover from £1.8m in 2012 to £3.8m in 2018.
Their annual turnover for 2019 is projected to be £4.3 million.
Wentworth Wooden Puzzles managing director Sarah Watson said: “To see the growth in the US market over the last few years has been really exciting and as we use an e-commerce website to sell, the exporting process has been straightforward.
"I would definitely urge companies that are starting out with their export plans to get in touch with the DIT and see how they can help.”
