Road closed after serious accident
THE road leading to the West Wilts Trading Estate at Westbury from the Trowbridge and Yarnbrook direction has been closed following a serious road accident.
It is understood a car and a light car transporter were involved in the collision, and police have closed the road on the outskirts of Hawkeridge village, before the traffic lights at the village entrance.
Traffic heading and from to the trading estate is being diverted through Westbury, and the road is expected to be closed for the remainder of the afternoon.
