New Irish dancing classes are coming to Park South.
VW Irish Dancing is expanding to offer more adult advanced level classes, which will be held on Wednesdays at 8pm in the Polish Community Centre on Whitbourne Avenue.
Vicky Wetton, who runs the school and is the primary teacher, said: “It’s a fun and friendly group who work hard and have fun.
“The dancers don’t take things too seriously but are very supportive of each other.”
The club has been holding adult Irish dancing classes for the last two years at the Buckhurst Community Centre and will continue their beginners classes on Mondays at 8pm.
VW Irish Dancing was set up in 2006 as a community group to promote Irish Dancing in Swindon.
The school also teaches children and currently has 80 students. It frequently takes part in competitions.
