BURGLARS made off with cufflinks, a bracelet and rings after breaking into an Ogbourne St George home.

The thieves struck at some point between 12.50pm and 1.35pm on Monday, January 13.

Cash, jewellery and watches were taken in the raid on the Chiseldon Road property.

Among the stolen items were an amber bracelet with a large caramel coloured stone set in silver, an amber ring in a tear drop shape, three pairs of cufflinks and two silver Filigree brochettes, one in the shape of a butterfly and the other in the shape of a flower.

A spokeswoman for Wiltshire Police said: "Officers investigating the burglary would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard any suspicious activity in the area during these times."
