ICY conditions have forced police to shut a country lane near the Cotswold water park - and they've warned drivers not to ignore road closure signs.
Royal Wootton Bassett and Cricklade police said Waterhay Road, between Cricklade and Ashton Keynes, had to be shut on Sunday afternoon due to a very icy stretch of road.

Writing on social media, officers said: "Vehicles were losing control and a cyclist had to have medical treatment after falling off his bike on the ice.
"While he received treatment on the side of the road cars were unable to stop safely due to the conditions putting the casualty and crew at risk.
"Motorists are moving the signs and trying to come through putting themselves and others at risk.

"We really don’t close roads for the fun of it. Please take notice of the signs. They will be there for your or our safety.
"While we wait for council the road will remain closed."
