A pedestrian who died following a collision with a car in Melksham at the weekend has been named.
Thomas Collis, 60, from Melksham, died from the injuries he sustained following the collision on the A350 Beanacre Road at approximately 6pm on Saturday.
A tribute from his family said: "Thomas Collis known locally to his friends and family as Tommy or Tom will be truly missed by all."
Following the collision, the road was closed for a number of hours while investigation work was carried out.
Police are appealing for anyone with information, including anyone who may have dash cam footage which could assist with our enquiries, to come forward.
