A RANGE Rover has been seized and four people arrested in a series of dawn raids in Chippenham and Corsham.

Four houses were raided in Loyalty Street, Cherhill Way, Long Close and Maitland Close on Thursday morning. It followed tip-offs from the public about drug dealing.

Two women, 20s, and two men in their 30s were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and possession of criminal property.

Police have seized a Range Rover and other designer goods. Enquiries are ongoing.

Insp James Brain said: “The negative impact that drug activity can have on a neighbourhood should not be underestimated. The supply of drugs is often associated with anti-social behaviour, violence and the use of weapons. This simply will not be tolerated.

“Today’s warrants have been really successful and we will continue to target those involved in illegal drugs within our community.”
