Time is running out for Swindon’s athletes to submit their applications for a sports grant.
GLL Sport Foundation is offering funding to help talented youngster reach their potential but the cut off date is February 20.
Launched in 2008, the foundation provides financial support, physiotherapy and free gym membership at GLL-operated facilities in Swindon such as the Link Centre and the Oasis.
The foundation currently supports two 15-year-old Swindon-based netball players, Fearne Maine and Felicity Tilley, who train and play for Lawn and Team Bath.
Felicity said: “The Sport Foundation has supported and helped with my rehabilitation due to a minor injury to my knee, building up my strength back to full fitness.”
Fearne added: “‘The foundation gives me the opportunity to continue my training for Team Bath by having the access to Better gyms in my local area.”
