TOWN CENTRE: Casey Goble, 46, of Harding Street, was fined £100 for twice going to the Brunel West car park underpass off Wharf Green. He had been banned from going to the spot by a community protection notice.

He was fined £100 and ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge. The sums were deemed paid by time served in the court cells.

WILTSHIRE: Robert Strungariu, 19, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to a spree that saw him steal from TK Maxx stores in Swindon, Chippenham and Bath on January 21 and also damage a watch cabinet at the Chippenham store.

He was jailed for three weeks because of the high value of the theft.

TADPOLE GARDEN VILLAGE: Kalum Watts, 34, of William Morris Way, was found guilty of sending a woman threatening Facebook messages on March 20 last year.

He was given a 12 month community order and banned from going to a street in Corsham. A restraining order prevents him from contacting his victim until January next year.

He was fined £100 and ordered to pay £320 costs and an £85 victim surcharge.

SWINDON: Raymond Hinton, 63, of Mosta, Malta, pleaded guilty to stealing an Audi A4 belonging to Motonovo Finance between October 2015 and July 2016.

The theft was valued at £7,035.70. He was ordered to pay that sum in compensation, fined £307 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

SWINDON: Mark Stiggers, 29, of Galsworthy Close, pleaded guilty to breaching the term of a restraining order by going to a property from which he was banned.

He was given a 12-month community order, fined £40 and must pay £175 in costs and surcharge.

BROADGREEN: Ishmael Thompson, 29, of Rosebery Street, admitted damaging a door. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

WEST SWINDON: Jonathan Vass, 40, of Saddleback Road, pleaded guilty to assault by beating, damaging a photo frame and sending an indecent or threatening message. He was fined £600 and told to pay £85 costs and a £36 victim surcharge.

PENHILL: Matthew Softley, 47, of Penhill Drive, was jailed for a total of five months after he admitted stealing alcohol and other items worth £270 from Asda.

He was already subject to a community order and a suspended prison sentence for possession of weapons, drugs and for theft.

Magistrates sentenced him to 20 weeks’ imprisonment, saying the matter was aggravated by the defendant’s poor criminal record.

PINEHURST: Kray Dunn, 25, of Hawthorn Avenue, admitted damaging a door and a kitchen window of a house on Burbage Road in November last year.

He was given a six month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £21 victim surcharge.

COVINGHAM: Karl Alexander, 40, who gave a care of address of Dragonfly Close, admitted stealing a razor from Wilko and bedding worth £65 from Homesense.

He was given a 12 month community order with a drug rehabilitation requirement. He must pay £48 compensation, a £90 victim surcharge and £40 costs.

TOWN CENTRE: Lee Griffiths, 41, of Milton Road, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. He was given a six month conditional discharge. He must pay £85 costs and a £21 victim surcharge.

SWINDON: Dwayne Komakech, 24, of Peckham, London, has been charged with dangerous driving at Junction 15 of the M4, possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply, possession of three knives, driving a 2018 plate BMW without insurance and while banned from driving, possession of £2,615 in cash and failing to provide a specimen of blood.

Magistrates remanded him in custody to appear before Swindon Crown Court on February 28 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.

TOWN CENTRE: Charges were dropped against one Swindon man because he’d died awaiting trial.

Jason Smith, 39, of Cheney Manor Road, had been due to stand trial on allegations he was in possession of a lock knife on Commercial Road on December 3.
