A DRUG dealer has been jailed for three years after being pulled over for speeding 84mph in a 40mph zone - with £75k worth of drugs stashed in the car.

Florin Kingji, of no fixed abode, appeared before Reading Crown Court after being arrested by police in November.

The court heard how Kingji was travelling on the A33 when he was pulled over by police on November 22, 2019.

He was pulled over for doing 84mph along the 40mph road, and the force said he gave false details and a fake driving licence.

Officers searched his car and found 'a large quantity of class A drugs' which was found to be £75,000 worth of cocaine on him and in the car.

The 22 year old was charged on November 23 and at the hearing on Wednesday, February 19, was sentenced after pleading a guilty to one count of possession with intent to supply.

Kingji was handed a three-year prison sentence.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Alan Pearcy, based at Reading police station said: “Thames Valley Police will actively pursue the supply of drugs in the area.

“This was an excellent vehicle stop by traffic officers resulting in a substantial amount of drugs off the streets, and Kingji will now spend three years in prison.
