FIREFIGHTERS were called to two house fires – within a minute of each other last night.
Crews were called to Royston Road, Park South, at 1.49am. A pan had been left on the top of a hob.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Luckily, the fire was out on arrival of the crew.”
At 1.50am firefighters were sent to Roman Crescent, Old Town. They used a hose reel jet to put out the utility room fire before ventilating the house.
