Residents have hit out at the state of Pinehurst Road.
A pothole six inches deep is the latest to open up next to a speed bump in the middle of Pinehurst Circle, causing problems for drivers crossing towards Beech Avenue.
Gemma Hedges, from Pinehurst, drove into it on Monday evening.
“When it’s dark the Circle is a trap!” said the mum.
“You only see it once you’re actually on the bump and by then it’s too late. The pothole is unavoidable.”
The hole, which was filled in on Tuesday night, is a spot which has been repaired many times before.
Gemma added: “I go through this road every day and at least one pothole is opening up again after being filled. It’s not good enough. Something else needs to be done.
“If anything I avoid the middle of the Circle now.”
