STAFF at Tesco Trowbridge have raised cash for mental health charity MIND, helping a campaign run by local woman Louise Williams.
In October last year her fiancé Lee Turner lost his life, after battling for years with mental health issues. Determined to make a difference for others, she started a JustGiving page for MIND in honour of Lee. Her target is £10,000 and she has already hit £6,500.
Tesco community champion Maria Asquith said: “Louise is a real inspiration, she is so passionate about keeping Lee’s memory alive, and to continue the fundraising Lee was involved with.
“Mental health is a problem for so many, and if we can help support in any way we will. The £100 was raised by having a memory tree in the store over Christmas, where customers could write a private message to a loved one.”
