Number of coronavirus cases in the UK surpasses 1,300 with 35 deaths
The number of people who have died after testing positive for the Covid-19 has reached 35.
As of 9am today, 232 new cases have been confirmed, bringing the total to 1,372.
A total of 40,279 have been tested in Britain , of which 38,907 were confirmed negative.
