A PICTURE of a squirrel pushing a tiny shopping trolley full of peanuts has won the Camera Club photo of the month for February.

Animal and photography lover Sonia Jane Smith took this picture while walking in Town Gardens.

The photo was taken in early February. Sonia said: “That particular picture was taken with my new camera which is a Nikon d3500.

“I’ve always loved the squirrels and I have a thing for miniature items, and I saw the trolley for sale in a supermarket and I just wonder if that would look good in a photo.

“I’m always thinking out of the box and trying to put character to my photos as it keeps people engaged.

“And I always try and make people smile and laugh because it’s just what I do.”

Sonia started photography in November last year. The 45-year-old from Royal Wootton Bassett added: “I was using an iPhone and I got good feedback on my pictures which encouraged me to buy a camera.” She joined the club group in January.
