FISH and chip shop supplier and fast food wholesaler T. Quality is letting the general public order food ready to pick up from its call-and-collect depots.

With the introduction of a new online ordering platform, the company can accept orders from people who sign in as a guest on the website and pay upon collection. The normal telephone ordering is still available and its lorries are still delivering around the country.

Managing director Mike Crees said: “We can offer our normal service to our current customers and those commercial outlets now offering home deliveries, but we would like to extend that to anyone who needs it.

"Go online and make an order, we can put the goods in your vehicle and the only contact is to make payment upon collection. We hope that this promotes the more able to help the vulnerable by bulk buying and distributing to their neighbours, friends and family.”

Marketing manager Debbie Reeve Crook said: “We are widely known for our individually frozen fish fillets and fish products but we sell everything from frozen chicken portions and sausages to tinned goods, drinks and cleaning materials.

"Although we know supermarkets are starting to improve their stock after the initial panic, visiting them still requires quite a lot of social contact with the general public. We are making every effort to sanitize, bleach and use every precaution necessary to reduce any risk to our staff and members of the general public."
