Wroughton Post Office inside Cooperative
WROUGHTON’S Post Office is moving base with the new branch opening today.
The counter inside the Cooperative is moving from Devizes Road to the High Street in the village.
Its branch closed on Wednesday at 1pm to pack up and get everything moved and set up to the new location.
As it was making its move customers had to use the nearby branches at Victoria Road in Swindon or at Commercial Road.
A spokesperson for the Post Office said: “This will be a new-style local Post Office with services provided from two serving points alongside the retail counter of the convenience store throughout the shop’s opening hours.”
It will be open today at 8am until 8pm.
The branch is open every day between these hours.
