A man will stand trial on allegations he deliberately breathed over police officers before telling them he might be suffering from coronavirus.
Matthew Brown, 32, of Ermin Street, Stratton, appeared before Bristol Magistrates' Court on Monday charged with three counts of assault by beating.
It is said he blew in officers' faces after he was arrested on Friday for breaching a restraining order and taken to Gablecross police station on Friday, the BBC reports.
He denied the assault charges and was remanded in custody for a trial at the Swindon court on July 27.
