SWINDON: Daniel Goulding, 30, of Brimpton, near Reading, denied assaulting a woman in Swindon on October 18 last year.

He was bailed for the trial on July 2 at Swindon Magistrates’ Court.

SWINDON: Clive Robson, 46, of Larch Way, Ferndown, Dorset, admitted damaging a woman’s bras.

He pleaded guilty to a single count of criminal damage. Two assault charges were dismissed.

Robson was fined £80 and told to pay £117 in costs and surcharge.

SWINDON: A warrant was issued for the arrest of a Welsh teen found guilty of having a knife at Swindon’s railway station.

He was found guilty by magistrates last week of being in possession of a blade. He was not present at court.

CHIPPENHAM: Simon Ryan, 32, of Barken Road, admitted breaking his partner’s eye socket.

Magistrates heard Ryan had punched the woman in the face. He was later picked up by police and, when searched, was found to have a small amount of cannabis on him.

Ryan pleaded guilty to GBH and possession of a class B drug. He was bailed to appear before Swindon Crown Court on April 17 to be sentenced for the assault. He was fined £130 for the cannabis matter and must pay £117 in costs and surcharge.

WROUGHTON: Mark Painter, 46, of Willow Walk, denies stealing a woman’s mobile phone and twice assaulting her.

He was bailed for the trial at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on July 9.

GORSE HILL: Oscar Crowe, 20, of Argyle Street, admitted three counts of sending a grossly offensive or indecent message and four counts of harassment.

He was bailed to appear before Swindon Magistrates’ Court on April 17 for sentence.

RODBOURNE CHENEY: Toni Hester, 21, of Churchward Avenue, pleaded guilty to assault by beating.

She was given a 12 month community order with a requirement to do 15 rehabilitation activity days. She must pay £125 costs and a £90 victim surcharge.

OLD TOWN: A man due to appear before the court to make a statutory declaration in relation to a vehicle excise case was self-isolating.

Magistrates adjourned Osamudiamen Igbinijesu’s case until June 12. The 30-year-old lives on Celsus Grove, Old Town.

HAYDON END: Michelle Parkes, 42, of Estella Close, was jailed for two weeks after she admitted stealing a purse containing £85 last August and using disorderly behaviour.

She was ordered to pay £85 compensation and fined £150 in addition to the two week jail sentence.

OLD TOWN: Behar Kasemi, 46, of Maidstone Road, denies using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause the female complainant to fear violence would be used against her.

He has been bailed for the trial on July 27. He must abide by a night time curfew.

SWINDON: David Lutwyche, 38, of Tewkesbury Road, Cheltenham, pleaded not guilty to driving an Audi A4 on Cricklade Road last May while under the influence of cannabis.

He will stand trial on July 13 at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court and was granted bail.

SWINDON: Baskaran Sabaratnam, 45, of Alexandra Avenue, will stand trial in July on accusations he drove carelessly on the A419 in March last year.

The trial will take place before the Swindon justices on July 27.

SWINDON: A man and woman have been charged with neglecting a girl.

The couple, both in their 20s, did not appear before the court. The case was adjourned until May 7 due to the court shutdown following the coronavirus lockdown.

The pair are accused of abusing the girl in October last year.

WILTSHIRE: Adam Stanley, 30, of Ogilvie Square, Calne, was found guilty of two counts of assault causing actual bodily harm including one racially-aggravated assault, stealing a bike belonging to the same woman he attacked and damaging her X-box game controllers, phone cables and birth certificates.

He was remanded in custody to be sentenced at Swindon Crown Court on April 24.

SWINDON: Jay Mapstone, 18, of no fixed address, could not offer pleas to charges he threatened a two people and had cannabis in his possession – as he refused to come out of his cell.

He was remanded in custody until April 16 when he will come back to the magistrates’ court via video link.
