MAROONED boat owners at Devizes Foxhangers marina got an impromptu concert at the weekend.
Musicians Mike and Helen Carter decided to strum up for an acoustic session from The Blue Rose Band for fellow boaties stranded on lockdown.
Around 40 people are hunkered down at the Marina on narrow boats, as locks and canals, including the famous Caen Hill locks between Rowde at Devizes have been closed by the Canal and River Trust.
"We are all a good distance apart," said Brian Hart, from his boat, Pennies from Heaven.
"So we all enjoyed a good socially distanced gig played from the middle of the marina."
Musician Mike said it was a little different to the usual set played to packed pubs. "But it was lovely to hear people on neighbouring boats clapping along."
Dozens of others watched online.
