TWO men from Devizes were attacked and left needing hospital treatment after travelling to Trowbridge to sell a bike on Saturday.
A police spokesman said: "We are investigating an incident which occurred in Trowbridge.
"At approximately 1pm on Saturday two men aged 19 and 25, travelled from Devizes to Trowbridge to sell a bike to an unknown man.
"When they arrived in the town, they were attacked by two men.
"Both victims sustained wounds to their legs and hands. Following the incident, the pair returned to Devizes and were then taken to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon. Their injuries are not life threatening."
The first attacker is described as approximately 5 ft 8 inches tall, wearing a grey Adidas hoody, black joggers and black shoes. The second man is described as mixed race, with brown hair, brown eyes and dressed all in black.
