NURSERY school worker Laura Emm is to have her waist length head completely shaved tomorrow to raise money for a hospital which is treating her mum for breast cancer.
Laura, 32, from Market Lavington, near Devizes, is a bit worried about allowing her husband Nathan to wield the scissors and clippers.
She said: “I cut his hair a few days ago and he wasn’t very pleased with the result.”
Laura, who is mum to twins Pippa and Millie, seven, and Kitty, four will be donating 29 inches of hair to the Princess Trust so it can be turned into wigs children and is being sponsored for the Salisbury District Stars Appeal.
She said: “At the beginning of the year my amazing mum was diagnosed with breast cancer and it rocked our family to the core.
“But she is receiving fantastic care at Salisbury District Hospital where the Stars Appeal raise funds tirelessly to finance expensive medical equipment, including a specialist breast Unit.”
