POLICE and fire investigation officers are investigation the cause of a fire which they believe may have been started deliberately.
The Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue and police launched the probe after a blaze damaged a small wooden holiday chalet at Rood Ashton near Trowbridge.
A fire service spokeswoman said: "We received a call at 19:47pm yesterday evening about a fire in Rood Ashton, West Ashton.
"Two crews from Trowbridge attended the incident and found a wooden holiday chalet well alight on arrival.
"Two breathing apparatus wearers used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and the stop came at 20:57pm.
"Police were also in attendance as it is believed to have been started deliberately."
The chalet appears to be a shepherd's hut vehicle which was badly damaged by the fire.
