Boris Johnson's chief aide is to make a statement and take questions over his reported lockdown breaches.
Dominic Cummings is facing calls from MPs and the public to resign after it was reported he drove his family 260 miles to County Durham during lockdown while his wife was showing coronavirus symptoms.
He will speak to the press in the Rose Garden at No 10 at 4pm.
Yesterday, the prime minister said Mr Cummings acted legally and within guidelines.
