TWO men have been arrested and a large quantity of Class A and B drugs seized after a car was searched in Trowbridge.
The incident took place just before 5pm on Friday when an officer from the Trowbridge Community Policing Team located a car parked on Kensington Fields with two men inside.
Following further enquiries, a large quantity of suspected Class A and B drugs were located inside the car along with scales, cash and other drug paraphernalia.
The two men were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs.
They were interviewed and have both been released under police investigation while enquiries continue.
PC Storm Brand, from the Trowbridge Community Team, said: "Despite these unprecedented times, our community policing teams are continuing to proactively patrol our communities.
"We have a zero tolerance approach to illegal drugs in our community as we know the damage they can cause.
"We rely on community intelligence so I would urge anyone with information about any drug activity in their area to contact us on 101 or via our online reporting tool on our website."
