HOLIDAY bookings had to be cancelled this summer after the coronavirus outbreak but getting a break isn't too far out of reach.

A hypnotherapist from Wiltshire and a travel expert have teamed up to bring holidays to life at people's homes.

Helen, of Royal Wootton Bassett, trains hypnotherapists around the world and is working with Sarah Watts, an independent travel director, to help people get a break.

Helen said: “At a time when we can’t guarantee a lengthier reprieve, something as simple as taking a ‘virtual holiday’ can offer a brief moment of escapism. This allows you an outlet for the stress we are facing, and the energy to re-engage with life in lockdown.”

Self-hypnosis audio clips have been recorded to take people to a different place whether that's a safari, Disney or a beach.
