They’re blissfully unaware that they’ve been born in the middle of a major historic event and their parents will have a real tale to tell them about the coronavirus lockdown when they’re old enough to understand.

Ada Iris Bonney arrived in a candle-lit room at the White Horse birth suite on May 22 at 3.50am, listening to Ed Sheeran, greeted by parents Matt and Katie from Greenmeadow.

IVF tot Arthur Moore was long-awaited by mum Jess, dad James and brother Jacob, but arrived three days early in an emergency caesarean. His other family have so far only been able to see him through a window.

Proud Reuben Piper, 2, with his new little sister Edith. Parents Daniel and Rachel from Lawn said she was their natural miracle after Reuben was born using IVF. Six days later than expected, Edith had to be encouraged into the world by the midwives at the GWH.

Grace Duffy’s mum and dad Hannah and Jack can’t wait to introduce her properly to her grandparents and aunties after lockdown is over. She was born on May 23 and so far they’ve had to make do with Facetime.

Toby Groves models a woolly hat specially knitted for newborns at the hospital. He was born on May 29 to Jack and Courtney and has a proud big brother at home - Bruce the boxer dog.
