LUKE Hope is looking for the perfect donor to save his life after he was diagnosed with leukaemia.
He is in need of a bone marrow transplant which will replace his damaged blood cells with healthy ones
DKMS is a a nonprofit donor organisation which is helping with Luke's hunt for a donor.
It has said that someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer every 20 minutes.
People looking to see if they are a match can register on their website and they will send a swab kit to test the tissue type.
They then use this to search for people who are a genetic match and in need of a transplant.
Then a blood test will be done to see if it's the best match for the patient.
After all of this the blood cells will then be donated which means a two night stay at a hospital
A tube called a central venous catheter is then used to put the donor's cells into the blood stream.
Then the cells travel through the blood stream and into their bone marrow.
