A Broadgreen man has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Toothill last May.
Appearing before the Swindon court from HMP Ranby, Sheldon Thomas, 39, of Rosebery Street, indicated he would plead guilty to wounding with intent. He is also charged with possession of a knife.
The charge concerns the stabbing of a man in Oakham Close on May 10, 2019. At the time, Wiltshire Police said the victim of the attack had been stabbed three times as he walked towards flats in the west Swindon cul-de-sac.
Det Sgt Scott Anger of Swindon CID said: "We believe the person who stabbed our victim was male so we are appealing for witnesses to any altercation between two males or any male acting suspiciously, possibly leaving the address on Oakham Close.”
Thomas was remanded in custody to appear before the court on July 31.
