TEN new homes could be built at a former restaurant in Crowthorne.

This plan is just one of five interesting new proposals submitted to the council in the past week.

Ten new homes in Crowthorne (planning reference: 20/00347/FUL)

Planning permission has already been granted for developers to replace The Mango Tree on Crowthorne’s Church Street with five new homes.

Now, the developers have come back with another application seeking to add another five flats to the proposal.

The Mango Tree, which was a popular Indian restaurant and bar, has already been demolished.

Should this new plan go through, all 10 of the new homes would be two-bedroom apartments with 20 car parking spaces added at the site.

Three new flats on top of Crowthorne shop (20/00393/FUL)

New designs have revealed developers’ aim to add three one-bedroom flats on top of the former Apex Models shop at 182 and 184 Dukes Ride in Crowthorne, which was last used as office space.

The shop is now currently vacant, but the plans indicate a new shopfront would be added to the store if these proposals go ahead.

A first floor rear extension and alterations to the front and rear elevations are also planned.

Developers have prior approval to convert the office space into a two-bedroom flat.

New food bank store in Bracknell (20/00454/FUL)

A prefabricated building is set to be added at the back of The Kerith Community Church in Bracknell.

It would act as a food store for a food bank complete with a new access door to the newly created food bank area at the rear of the K2 community-building hall.

One new home in Ascot (20/00464/FUL)

An old stable block on Asher Drive could make way for the new home if this plan is approved.

The new home would be a three-bedroom house complete with three parking spaces.

It would be situated near to a large two-storey home at the same address.

It is located within the green belt.

A new home at a farm in Binfield (20/00501/OBS)

In April, the News reported developers wanted to build a four-bedroom home at Foxley Farm on Foxley Lane in Binfield.

It now appears these plans have been revised as new proposals have been submitted for a five-bedroom home.

Like with all the above applications, this plan is pending consideration.
