Two Swindon schoolchildren were among the winners of a Trackanory short story competition run by Great Western Railway.
Six-year-old Freddie Bevan wrote about a train powered by rocket boosters and Amelia Patterson, 11, wrote about pugs taking over a train.
They were among six winners in a competition judged by children’s TV star Naomi Wilkinson, a regular face on CBBC and a former presenter of Milkshake! on Channel 5.
Freddie was delighted to win prizes including a GWR jigsaw and set of GWR Top Trumps. Amelia said: "You’ve made my lockdown so much better."
Naomi, who currently presents Marrying Mum and Dad on CBBC, said: “I had a fantastic time judging the short-story entries and was amazed by the brilliantly-imaginative minds of all the children.”
