An arrest warrant has been issued for a woman accused of attacking police officers after she failed to attend court.
Melksham woman Shannon Graham, 32, of no fixed address, had been due before Swindon Crown Court on Friday to answer charges she took a Peugeot without consent on January 5 in Chippenham, caused actual bodily harm to PC Benjamin Peacock and three counts of assault on PC Evangeline Templar.
Rob Ross, defending, said his firm had struggled to keep in contact with his client.
Issuing an arrest warrant not backed for bail, Judge Jason Taylor QC said: “I’ll give her an appointment she needs to keep.”
Colin Meeke appeared for the Crown.
