AN outgoing pooch is looking for a family to shower with love to after being rescued by SNDogs.

The charity found eight-year-old Luisa in Spain after she was left wandering the streets looking for food.

But current foster carer Sharon Skinner believes she has lived with people before.

She said: “They couldn’t trace the owners and she wasn’t microchipped.

“But she’s obviously lived with family before because she’s come here and settled straight in since she’s arrived.

“They estimate that she’s eight years old but she could be slightly younger.”

As well as not being sure about her age, Luisa's breed is also up for debate. Sharon thinks she is a large Labrador.

But when it comes to her manners around the house, Sharon is much more certain.

Sharon explained: “Luisa’s absolutely wonderful.

"She doesn’t want for anything, she’s so easy going.

“She must be house-trained because we’ve not had any problems and she sleeps well throughout the night.

“Her main focus is affection.

"She loves giving and receiving it.”

When it comes to her future home Sharon believes Luisa would be fine living with other dogs and cats.

But she recommends a younger family adopt Luisa because of her size.

Anyone interested in giving Luisa a home should visit sndogs.uk/adopt-a-dog and fill out the application form.

A home check will then be carried out before a decision is made.
