Almost 90 per cent of residents disagree with Cotswold District Council’s decision to increase car parking charges by 30 per cent.
That’s according to a poll we ran on our website last week.
Parking in council-owned car parks will increase by 30 per cent on September 1, following the decision at a Cotswold District Council meeting last month.
88% of residents said they didn’t support the increase, with 9% saying they did support it.
Just 3% of respondents said they supported an increase but 30 per cent is excessive.
