House of Fraser has confirmed it will be closing its Swindon Brunel Centre store at the end of September.
Sally May, the assistant store manager, confirmed the news to the Advertiser and she believes the concessions at the store will also close down.
It is not known how many jobs are at risk.
This is the second store in the Brunel to announce it will be closing within a week.
Sainsbury's announced last week it would be closing its almost 50-year-old unit at the complex in November.
The House of Fraser store stretches across two floors of the Brunel Centre and is one of the largest shops in Wharf Green.
The franchise was acquired by Sports Direct owner Mike Ashley in 2018.
This is a further blow to the town centre which also saw department store Debenhams leave earlier this year as well as TopShop.
