TO HELP support the future of local journalism, the Gazette is offering readers the chance to take out an online subscription service for just £2 for two months.
The online subscription gives readers a number of benefits including unlimited reading of all articles on the site and access to an advert-lite website, which features 80 per cent fewer ads on articles.
Subscribers will receive newsletters keeping them up to date with all the breaking news and some stories they might have missed.
Editor Pete Gavan said: “There’s never been a more important time to show your support for local journalism.
“We’ve been with you throughout this Covid crisis bringing you trusted local news about what’s happening in your community. But we’ve been significantly hit by the pandemic. To give us a sustainable future we need people to understand that news cannot come for free. This is a great offer and I hope many of you will use it to take out a digital subscription.”
