Roads closed on M4
DRIVERS have been queuing for hours in the Swindon area today.
The M4 eastbound between Junction 15 for the town and Junction 14 for Hungerford is closed until 6am on Monday morning for resurfacing work.
This has caused more than three miles of congestion on the approach to Junction 15 on the motorway and has had a knock-on effect on the county’s A roads.
Traffic is being diverted along the A346 towards Marlborough and traffic is queuing from the market town as far back as Ogbourne Downs Golf Club.
There are further hold-ups between Froxfield and Eddington on the A4.
