Another case of coronavirus has been recorded in Swindon over the last 24 hours, official figures show.
Public Health England figures show that 1,335 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 by 9am on Friday in the borough, up slightly from 1,334 the same time on Thursday.
The rate of infection in Swindon now stands at 601 cases per 100,000 people, higher than the England average of 592.
Across the UK, the number of recorded cases increased significantly by 4,322 over the 24hr period, to 385,936.
Swindon's cases were among the 16,210 recorded across the south west, a rise of 94 in the region.
Cumulative case counts include patients who are currently unwell, have recovered and those that have died.
