M4: Gurvinder Singh, 28, of Hambrough Road, Southall, admitted speeding on the M4 in his Mercedes GLA200. He was fined £215, ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge and banned from driving for 28 days.

M4: Jean-Pascal Grierson, 56, of Union Lane, Isleworth, admitted speeding in his Audi Q3 on the M4 near Wanborough. He was fined £153 and banned from the roads for six months, with magistrates citing repeat offending. He must pay £117 in costs and surcharge.

M4: Lewis Stanton, 20, of Beddau, Rhondda Cynon Taff, was fined £90 after he admitted speeding in a Ford Fiesta on the M4 near Chippenham on March 4, 2020. He was ordered to pay £117 in costs and surcharge and given a seven-day driving disqualification.

SWINDON: Karl Alexander, 41, of Dragonfly Road, admitted possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin in Swindon on December 18, 2019. He was bailed to appear before Swindon Crown Court on November 6 for sentence.

SWINDON: Jayanta Das, 42, of Isambard Way, elected to be tried by a jury on three allegations of sexual touching. He was bailed to appear before the crown court on November 6.

TOWN CENTRE: Haxhi Kuqi, 21, of Westcott Place, entered no pleas to a charge of cannabis production on October 1. He was remanded in custody to appear before the crown court on November 6.

TOWN CENTRE: David Mundy, 31, of Station Road, was given a suspended prison sentence after he admitted damaging a Peugeot 208 on October 1, damaged a window and stole beer from the Penhill service station on two occasions and laundry detergent from the Co-op on another two occasions.

He was sentenced to 16 weeks imprisonment suspended for 18 months. He must pay a total of £245.67 in compensation.

HIGHWORTH: Alvin Gordon, 30, of Longsight, Manchester, admitted two allegations of assaulting a woman in Highworth by beating her. He was given an 18 month community order with a requirement to do 180 hours of unpaid work. He must pay £90 compensation.

PINEHURST: Jack Holmes, 19, of Acacia Grove, pleaded guilty to taking a Nissan Micra without consent on February 5 and driving it dangerously through Pinehurst, Penhill and Mordeon, driving without a licence or insurance.

He was bailed to be sentenced at Swindon Crown Court on November 6.

PARK NORTH: Gary Steptoe, 41, of Ringwood Close, admitted supplying crack cocaine and heroin to an undercover police officer on May 28, 2019. He was bailed and will be sentenced at the crown court on November 6.

SWINDON: Terrence Jacks, 32, of Bisley Close, entered no pleas to an allegation of wounding a man with intent on Christmas Day 2019. He is due before the crown court on November 6. Magistrates granted him bail.

WALCOT: Steen Newton, 33, of Courtenay Road, was found not guilty of assaulting a woman by beating her on June 13.

SWINDON: Connor Kirkley, 25, of no fixed address, admitted allowing himself to be carried in a BMW 3 Series that had been taken without consent on August 5, 2020, stole £9-worth of goods from Wilko on July 9 and goods worth £125 on July 14. He also pleaded guilty to stealing spirits from Sainsbury’s on October 4, assaulting a man on the same date and being in possession of a knife. He was remanded in custody to appear before the crown court on November 6 for sentence.

TOWN CENTRE: Martin Ponting, 39, of Beckhampton Street, pleaded guilty to drink driving on Castle View Road, Chiseldon, on October 3 and driving without a licence. Tests showed he had 117 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath – three times the legal limit of 35.

He was bailed to be sentenced at the magistrates’ court on November 6. A pre-sentence report was ordered.

CRICKLADE: James Atkins, 28, of Bishopsfield, admitted assaulting a woman on April 10, 2020, and damaging two wine glasses. He was given a two year community order, with a requirement to complete a 30 day rehabilitation programme. He must pay a £90 victim surcharge.

SWINDON: Johney Kumar, 39, of Cameron Close, pleaded not guilty to seven counts of sexual assault. He was bailed for a trial preparation hearing at Swindon Crown Court on November 6.
