CHILDREN and adults will be blazing a trail around Bradford on Avon during the October half-term break looking for pumpkins.

The town centre is hosting its annual Pumpkin Trail providing a perfect socially distant, fun activity for all those on holiday.

Bradford on Avon mayor, Cllr Simon McNeill-Ritchie, launched the trail on Saturday (October 17) helped by event coordinator James Sullivan-Tailyour, from the Swan Hotel, Nikita Haynes Brayden and Keaton Ackinson, along with business owners Oya Mutlo of La Cotonniere gift shop and Miles Cantelou of The Gallery in Market Street.

Mr Sullivan-Tailyour said:"We are proud to support this annual event, even more relevant this year as it is a great fun, socially distanced event all outside."

More than 24 pumpkins will be on display at various businesses in Market Street, Silver Street, Lamb Yard and Station Approach until Saturday, October 31.

Trail forms are available from the town's Stan Hotel, Piha in Lamb Yard, the Tourist Information Centre and online from www.theswanbradford.co.uk.

Anyone taking part is able to enter a prize draw with prizes being presented in Lamb Yard at 2.30pm on October 31.
