SWINDON: Alan Dickson, 61, of Mannington Park, admitted drink driving a Renault Clio in Mannington Park on October 10, 2020. Tests showed he had 116 microgrammes of breath in 100ml of breath, more than three times the drink drive limit of 35.

He was banned from the roads for two years, ordered to do 40 hours of unpaid work and pay £180 in costs and surcharge.

WILTSHIRE: Alan Frener, 74, of Edgers Close, Salisbury, admitted dishonestly making a false statement on January 13, 2009, at HMP Hollesley Bay with a view to obtaining pension credit. He was bailed for sentence at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on November 13.

SWINDON: Steven Britton, 46, of Blueberry Road, Melksham, entered no plea to an allegation he was in possession of a machete in Swindon on May 22, 2020. He was bailed to appear before Swindon Crown Court on November 13 for a plea hearing.

HIGHWORTH: Daniel Radbourne, 32, of Queens Avenue, admitted beating a man on January 14. He was sentenced to 12 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for 18 months. He must do 100 hours of unpaid work and pay £700 compensation to his victim.

Radbourne also admitted breaching an earlier community order. Magistrates ordered he do seven hours of unpaid work as punishment.

TOWN CENTRE: Leslie Barreto, 40, of Drove Road, pleaded guilty to drink driving. He was behind the wheel of a Lexus RX 350 on Alfred Street on February 26 when tests later showed he had 95 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was fined £250, banned from driving for two years and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

FRESHBROOK: Nicola Dady, 50, of Wakefield Close, pleaded guilty to drink driving. She was driving a Honda Civic on Great Western Way on February 22, 2020, when tests later revealed she had 95 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35. Magistrates imposed a 12 month community order with 10 rehabilitation days, fined her £500 and ordered she pay £180 in costs and surcharge. She was disqualified from driving for two years.

HIGHWORTH: Bradley King, 20, of Bydemill Gardens, was banned from driving for a year after he admitted drink driving. He had 95 milligrammes of alcohol in 100ml of blood. He was fined £150 and must pay £85 costs and a £34 victim surcharge.

SWINDON: A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named as he is under-18, admitted breaking into garages in Monkton Close, Park South, on December 10. He was given a 12 month youth rehabilitation order with three month curfew and 80 hours of unpaid work. He was resentenced for a youth rehabilitation order imposed in September for GBH.

A 15-year-old boy pleaded guilty to burgling the same garages. He was given a nine month youth referral order.

SWINDON: Shafakat Ali, 40, of Foxton Road, Birmingham, pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis in Swindon on March 26. He was fined £80, must pay £85 costs and a £34 victim surcharge. The sums were deemed paid by time served.

PENHILL: Lucy Goodenough, 23, of Alton Close, admitted assaulting a police officer on January 9, 2020. She was fined £80, ordered to pay £100 compensation and a £34 victim surcharge.

ELDENE: Edward Wheeler, 43, of Collingsmead, pleaded guilty to trespassing on the railway near Transfer Bridges on July 26 and being drunk and disorderly in Magnolia Court on February 12. He was fined £160. He must pay £117 in costs and surcharge.

REDHOUSE: Stuart Jonas, 41, of Millgrove Street, admitted stealing groceries and alcohol from the Co-op on September 8, 2019. He was given a 12 month conditional discharge and must pay £20 compensation. He was ordered to pay £107 in costs and surcharge.

CRICKLADE: A 17-year-old boy wrote his own nickname on a police cell. The teenager, who cannot be identified as he is under 18, scratched his four-letter tag onto a custody cell door on September 19.

Appearing before Swindon Youth Court, he admitted assaulting a police officer and criminal damage. He was given a nine month youth referral order and must pay £75 compensation.
