SPECSAVERS are celebrating two decades of having its doors open in Devizes.
The store, at 27 The Brittox, initially opened its doors with a team of just five including optical assistant Vivienne Milne and store directors, Robert Templeton and Karen Carvallo.
Now the team has grown to 15 members of staff.
The team will host a special event next year for its customers and the local community when it is safe.
Robert said: "It’s an honour to be able to mark the store’s 20th anniversary, especially during a challenging year. However, being able to recognise this achievement alongside myself, Karen’s and Vivienne's milestones is the cherry on top of the cake. Our customers are very loyal and we’ve built up some great relationships with people over the years."
Specsavers stores throughout England have remained open in lockdown 2 for all eye care and hearing needs while following government guidelines.
